#HelloMyNameIsJamie I'm a doctor and teaching fellow in Emergency Medicine.
I currently work at the Queen's Medical Centre and University of Nottingham Medical School in the Department of Research and Education in Emergency (DREEAM) - Hence the name 'McDREEAMIE'!
My main educational interests are in technology enhanced learning especially mobile learning.
This led to creating the podcast Take Aurally designed for students and clinicians and designing a smartphone application for my medical students.
I’m also very interested in the history of Medicine which features a lot in my blog.
I'm a big believer in keeping education evidence based and resources free and open wherever possible.
Outside of work I love cricket, food, football, Formula One, James Bond, history, nature, photography and maintaining my caffeine habit.
I’m a Gryffindor and a Manchester United fan.
Hope you enjoy my musings.
