#HelloMyNameIsJamie I'm a doctor and postgraduate law student.

I’m currently studying Law at Nottingham Law School and work as a medic in Emergency Medicine.

I’ve previously worked as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Nottingham Medical School in the Department of Research and Education in Emergency (DREEAM) - Hence the name 'McDREEAMIE'! 

My Interests

My main educational interests are in technology-enhanced learning especially mobile learning.  

This led to creating the podcast Take Aurally designed for students and clinicians and designing a smartphone application for my medical students.  

I’m also very interested in the history of Medicine which features a lot in my blog.

I'm a big believer in keeping education evidence-based and resources free and open wherever possible. 

Outside of work I love cricket, food, football, Formula One, James Bond, history, nature, photography and maintaining my caffeine habit.

I’m a Gryffindor and a Manchester United fan.
